And so the journey begins...

Hello Littl'uns!
So as you may know, I do weekly vlogs on YouTube. To accompany these, I thought I'd have a go at this old blogging thing too!

So I moved back to Sunderland on Saturday for my third year of university, and it's great to be back. Moving away for university really forces you to grow up, in a sense. You are forced to learn life skills like how to cook, and how to work a washing machine. It can be a little hard to begin with, throwing yourself straight in. However, I've learnt to enjoy the challenge over the last couple years, and the independence that comes alongside it.

Classes don't start until next Tuesday - so right now I'm just enjoying settling back in with my lovely flatmates. I've chosen who I live with this year, and all three of them are people who I met in student accommodation in first year. To anyone going to university next year - I cannot recommend moving into halls enough! Coming from an introvert, I can assure you it's not as scary as it seems. Everyone there is in the same boat as you, often moving in with no friends, and not a lot of life experience. Moving into halls means you have people to attend freshers events with, it means you have help with a lot of university related issues on site and furthermore it means you can share cake at 4am.

I expect this year to be difficult. Placement begins just after the October half term so it's going to get hectic pretty quickly! I'll keep you all updated with how things go!

I love you guys dearly, goodbye!
Kristi.
