100 Happy Days.

So I recently made a video (see the bottom of this post) entitled "Live for Now". In it I basically explained how you shouldn't eve forget to enjoy the moment you are in right now, as opposed to dwelling on the past or living in the future. I received a comment on that video asking if I'd heard of the "100 Happy Days" project. I had, of course, it's everywhere on the internet lately, I'd be crazy to have missed it - but I never really looked into it. This comment made me decide to have a quick look - and I loved what I saw!

Every single day you post a picture of 1 thing that made you happy. This could be something as tiny as a delicious meal, or as grand as holding a new family member in your arms for the first time. I just think this is such a wonderful idea and I am excited to start it! I'll be posting a blog post every now and again with updates on how I am doing with this project, but let's start here today....

100 Happy Days - Day 1

So we're starting fairly simple. Today I cleared up and got my chores done. I don't know about you, but when I clear up, I automatically feel like I've also cleared up my head, and organised all my thoughts. :)

I'm super excited to continue with this project, and strongly urge anyone else who would like to to also join in ^_^.

Hope you have a wonderful week!
Lots of love,
Kristi <3

P.s. Here's that video I mentioned..

March Favourites

Hello Littl’uns!
I love doing these favourites posts, so here it is! My favourites for March 2014!

Beauty.
MUA: Bright Pink: £1
I am loving this nail varnish by MUA. It is lovely and bright, only needs a couple of layers, takes a good few days to chip and of course – it is so affordable! The name isn't very inventive, and I can't say much about the packaging, but that doesn't have anything to do with the product itself. I also bought another in “Bold Blue” but I have to say I wasn’t as impressed with that one. The colour is lovely, but it does take so many more layers for it to look good. I’ll definitely be testing out a few more of these in the future!

Tv/Film.

The FREAKING LEGO MOVIE. I can’t NOT mention this. It was…well…EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME! Funny, sweet, unexpected appearances and some overall good messages – it was excellent!

Music.
You won't be surprised to hear that the majority of the music I've enjoyed this month (besides Bon Jovi!) has once again come from YouTube. Here's just a sample of them:
Pompeii - Madilyn Bailey: Clickyy.
Go The Distance - Caleb Hyles: Clickyy.
Willow - Jasmine Thomas: Clickyy.
Genevieve - Kina Grannis: Clickyy.

Internet.
This video. It is ALL about this video! So emotional. I loved it. Such a fantastic idea too ^_^.

Food.
Hm – I can’t say there’s been anything new and exciting in my life this month really! Alas, I’m baking brownies on Friday and I am VERY excited! :D

Random.
My Sulley onesie. Omg - my Sulley onesie. I love it so much.

Do let me know what you've been loving this March, and I hope you all have a fantastic April!
Lots of love,
Kristi.
